We are excited to continue with our Social Justice Series events, this time focusing on prison outreach, coming up Tuesday, September 29 at 12:00 p.m.  The event will feature prison outreach activists and will include personal experiences with the prison system.  We are pleased to be joined by:

The panel will be moderated by MBASC Board member and Criminal Defense Attorney, Imran Syed.

About the Event:
The panelists will discuss their experiences advocating for incarcerated women and men and their personal experiences within the prison system. Panel topics will include: the importance of prison outreach, what it’s like to serve time in prison as a Muslim, and what lawyers can do to advocate for their clients and to get involved. A Q&A session will follow, time permitting.
